Hate: When you have an older, used car at the dealership for repairs and the "mechanic" at the dealership can't even figure out why, when you put your gas foot down all the way, the car still doesn't speed up. My private mechanic had said that he checked spark plugs, coil, etc. and it didn't need a tune up. He thought the dealership, with their computer, could figure out the problem. And after explaining to dealership about this, they still give it a tune up with new parts. One week and $600 later, they tell me that it still has the original problem and now they're "leaning" towards something else, a mass air flow sensor and another $600-$1000. So they're telling me that they're still not sure that will fix problem. I tell them that I shouldn't have to pay for the original misdiagnosis, per my private mechanic's advice, who thinks they're full of bs. The dealership says that it's a matter of a progression and journey to find the right answer, not a misdiagnosis. What mechanic talks like that, anyway. I tell him that the car's only worth about $1000 and with the price he's quoting me, he should not only fix the car, but also take the bear and deer dents out along with their carcass hair.
He says, he'll put the old parts back and only charge for the labor. Then I'm still left with a car that won't excel past 30mph.

Latest per dealership, he's putting out an "SOS" to their other dealerships around the country to see if anyone else has had this kind of problem. Now, he's offering a loaner car and a zero balance until he actually finds out what's wrong. But I still feel as if I'm going to get stuck with a bigger bill than the car is worth. Sorry for the run on sentences, but thank goodess for commas.

I also hate that even though my spouse handles negotiations in his everyday career, he leaves it all up to me to argue with car guy. In my next life, I'm going to Devry U for mechanics creds.

my crew always seem to show up after i leave in the morning so i cn throw out that last min. trash
they also always show up on Wed and sat. unless its a holiday.

Normally they're fine. There are more Monday holidays than other days. We are told to put the trash out the next day when there is a holiday. Sometimes they pick it up before the regular Thursday pick up and sometimes they don't. We end up having trash piled outside for 2 days when they decide to not bother. It makes for a real nice atmosphere when the trash festers in 90 degree heat.

Hate that my car has been in the dealership for over a week for repair, and still no answers on what's wrong with it. Even with the service guy asking for advice from the main office, we're not getting any answers. I'm afraid of what this charge is going to be, if and when I get it back. Had the same trouble last year with same car, different problem. I had to go to 3 dealerships at different locations before one of them figured it out. Unfortunately, that office no longer deals with this car brand anymore. It's nice they gave me a new loaner car, but I'm so afraid of driving something that's not mine. Too bad we can't trade cars.

My new town has found the perfect solution. It's called the town waste disposal site. You take your own trash down there every Saturday between 8:00am and 12:30. Oh and you need a $150 yearly disposal card that no one will ever check.

Thank God I have a pickup. Couldn't imagine loading the bug up with garbage every week...

With the train it's the passengers, with the bus it's the seats. You can't win for losing, NRT. With some seat tweaking, the bus ride could be a tad more enjoyable for some people.
