Anybody know when & what Avenue/Streets this years BAYRIDGE St Pattys day parade will be?
I've never gone- is it any good? Is there a large crowd spectating? Just curious...I've never had the chance to go but would like to check it out.

It's on Third Avenue. The crowd is usually small along the route but the bars are packed.

The parade is on Sunday, March 24, 2013 (Palm Sunday). Step off is at 1:00pm and the parade will run up 3rd Avenue, starting at Marine/3rd Aves to 67st Street. We're working on making this parade bigger and better than all years past, especially since this year is the 20th anniversary of the formation of the parade. Some really fun ideas are in the works, and we're looking forward to a much larger crowd of spectators along 3rd avenue. The bars -especially the bars that have signed on to be Parade Heaquarters - will definitely be crowded. The parade is a big day for them!

Check out the website for more details - it's going to go live very soon. http://www.bayridgestpatricksday.com/ As of right now, facebook has more detailed info: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bay-Ridg ... 8715628472

I did and I did. :) It's been a lot of fun so far. I'm not planning on marching though.

Got that from the DOT Special events calendar and seemed a bit conflicting which is why I posted it, but this obviously needs clarification.

I can confirm it's definitely Third Ave. Stop by Third and Marine and say hi if you get a chance!
