Here we say what we can't say in real life to someone

As advertised...

Here we say what we can't say in real life to someone

Postby Tara » 16 Jul 2010, 13:32

It's my day off. Stop emailing me with your stupid f*cking questions. You CAN live without me until Monday. You don't need to know this f*cking minute if I ever set up that lunch date with that person you want to schmooze for the day you are free at the restaurant you always wanted to try.....

and no, I didn't. She didn't respond. She's just not that into you.

Oh now that would be priceless. I'll tell her it's set up....and YOU meet her at the restaurant instead of Ms.X....
You tell her that that at the last minute Ms X has been called into a meeting, so she sent you to represent the company. Oh that would be fun.

Oh geez.....her frozen heart explains her perfectly.
She has several million, spends about 12K a month on dining and clothes...
What did she donate to charity last year? $1K.....
and it was to her own foundation.

She attended a benefit dinner/dance for another charity, as a guest of a major corp...
and when they asked for the $100 donation, she said she didn't donate...she was a guest.....

$100 bucks! $1000 a year!!

I donate more than that a year, and my income is pretty measly really.......

Yes, True. I have considered that. But I really believe we have to give back when we can. When we can is subjective, I guess....but, I'm not homeless or starving.....and if $20 or $50 here and there can really make a difference to someone, when I would probably just spend that on wine or cigarettes...........I have to give it.

Hmmmmmm

If I quit smoking and drinking, well.....I'd have a lot more money than I do. Still, probably not millionaire.

Shut up ghost of dave. You are making me feel bad now.

no it's because there are two types of people in the world.. those who give and those who don't...

Those who don't are selfish pricks who think society is there for their benefit, they are known as republicans.

Well......... I don't really agree with that.

I'm registered democrat, but I really think that I am more towards Working Family Party with some Libertarian Ideals. ( although PSB will shout at me that I am bleeding heart liberal every time...I dunno).
Anyhoo.....
Republicans do donate generously to animal charities, often.

And many of the animal welfare bills in congress were supported by Republicans.

I'd imagine they support other charities too.....but I don't have that data. The only human service charity I am involved with ( Reaching Out Community Services) does not collect that data. Admittedly, I'm more into animals than people.

Dear friend it was very kind of you to include us and give us tix to the play that everyone wants to go to. Even though we didn't ask you did that for us. We are so grateful down to our empty pockets. Do you really think you should bring up the price you paid for the tix every time we have seen you since then? Next time you are feeling generous please choose some other charity case.

No matter how many times you reconfigure and rebuild the blue work tarp tent on poles over your make shift outdoor table after it falls from the wind or a rainstorm, know that it is NEVER ever going to look like a fancy gazebo. No matter how hard you try. Please stop.

To a certain family member: You're being nice to everyone else and so nasty to the both of us when we try to help. I'm tired of being one of the targets of your displaced anger the past few weeks. I don't want to vacation with you and your Satan child... I don't even like when you go to the bathroom and leave me alone in the same room with that kid.

Stop asking me if this is the cutest/smartest kid I've ever met. I'm running out of creative ways to deflect the fact that I'm never going to say yes.

I understand that you got the surgery because it was painful having those huge gazongas weighing you down, but you really should have asked the doctor to leave you with boobs bigger than your belly. The fact that you paid for that outcome should be twice as painful as what you had before.

That tattoo is really tacky.

Dear XXX,

Like many of the intense relationships in my life, our time was brief. And when it ended, I was sure that I would never love that way again.
Now I'm not so sure. I've met someone that I care a great deal about and look forward to spending lots of time with this person.
Yes it hurt and still stings to this day. But rather than make me feel like I could never feel that way again, I think instead, I've opened my mind up to the possibility that I could. That despite my past, I can still open up to someone in that way.
I still love you intensely and I could never talk to you or see you ever again. But our time was special and I will never forget it.

Will

Why do you keep posting pictures of yourselves kissing your boyfriends/husbands. Really, no one looks attractive when they're kissing (unless its staged and shot by a professional) and you look especially awkward trying to take pictures of yourselves kissing at an arm's length. No one wants to see your tongue snaking into your significant other's mouth. Just stop it. Its gross.
