Cute how you assume I am white.
That aside, my students are pretty well- behaved. I teach HS now, so they are a bit easier. When I taught MS I had more problems. The WORSE thing I dealt with in my city school where the students are black and latino was a brat who threw an empty plastic bottle off the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. The WORSE thing I had to deal with when I taught in a practically ALL WHITE school down south (my first year teaching) was an allegation that a boy forced a girl to give him oral sex on an overnight trip.
But unlike the racist VD Dave and his racist buddy Dan, I didn't jump to the conclusion that all rural white kids are rapists. I didn't run to BRT to talk about "certain neighborhoods" (code word for black neighborhoods).
Its "worst" not "worse", professor.
And I don't buy for one minute that the worst thing you've had to deal with in an East New York high school is a bottle thrower. No one would. How are the morning rainbows and lollipops over there?
